QA Test Analyst

Sydney Office

Execute and co-ordinate the testing of Ebix software and applications, both in isolation and integrated with third-party software. Ensuring the quality is sufficient for release to Ebix customers.

Major Responsibilities Include:

Preparing and writing test cases and related testing documentation for the Ebix products as required
Quality assurance of Ebix Exchange applications
Execution of test cases
Compilation of test results
Writing up error reports
Retesting of error fixes
Supporting customer service centre, as required
Supporting developer teams, as required
Supporting network teams, as required
Supporting other Ebix Exchange areas, as required
Supporting all other Ebix Exchange departments, as required
Writing and reviewing of other project documentation as required such as functional specifications and release notes
Implement fault logging processes and procedures
Perform test strategy formulation, test planning, testing and analysis of activities
Prioritise workload
Develop documents relevant to testing
Co-ordinate with Developers, Business Analysts, Project Managers and Help Desk for new build and patch deployments
Integration testing with third party software and applications
Ongoing research into new test tools
Product Assessment of Suppliers new web products
Flexibility in relation to working hours will be required – occasional weekend and after-hours work will be required

Experience/ Skills Required:

Proven test analysis skills
Able to liaise and work co-operatively with staff in all areas of the company
Ability to work to a high degree of accuracy and detail
Ability to prioritise workload and ongoing different projects
Good written and oral communication skills
Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining concentration and good eye for detail
Ability to work autonomously
Show initiative and flexibility
Ability to work in a team
Ability to adopt new or alternative methodologies
Ability to meet deadlines
Desirable – 12 months experience in the insurance industry (brokers or underwriters)
Desirable – 12 months experience testing web products
